H2 Hotel Leipzig

The hotel room was quite large and did not feel cramped at all even though we were a group of 4. The shelves by the beds are very thoughtfully planned out (it has a mesh basket for your things, a switch to turn off all the nights so you don't have to leave your bed to do so, a plug for your things and a bedside lamp). We got the double bunkbed room for our group, and the mattresses were very large and comfy. It was also really nice that the shower and the toilet are separate rooms, so with a group of 4 we didn't have to fight over the bathroom privileges. And if too many people need to use the bathroom at once, on the ground floor there was a very clean public restroom. The hotel facilities were very nice. Our room came with free breakfast and the selection (the meatballs were delicious) were quite nice. The hotel also has an affordable cafe to order at until 11p and has outdoor seating, where my friends and I relaxed in during the evenings with some beer from the supermarket. Location was great! The hotel is located right by the train station and 5 minute walk to a tram stop. Although not centrally located in Leipzig, it was still pretty easy to get around with the tram or via walking (~15 min).

Breakfast is plentiful, rooms are clean but basic. The location is really good & its right next to the train station & Tram stops & only a 5/10 minute walk into the city centre. Staff are really helpful & speak really good English. The hotel also has a room where you can leave your luggage free of charge if you have a late flight.

I was surprised that there were no desserts for breakfast, only jams and only one cheese, although salami and ham were in a wide range. The room was very clean and everything was in perfect working order.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very kind, rooms are clean including a nice view and the whole building was nicely decorated and sorted. The breakfast was good but not outstanding. Location was very good: 3 min walking and directly in the city. For our dog we paid ~€15 additionally. We parked at a surrounding street for free (just keep looking around). I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Great location beside the train station. Despite being on a busy road our family room with bunk beds was quiet. It was spacious enough for a short stay and had a separate toilet and shower room. Very helpful staff. Our luggage was kept until evening free of charge. A few tables at the side of the hotel were nice to sit down at. Breakfast buffet was good.
